Candele a Candelara, potrebbe sembrare uno strano gioco di parole, in realtà è una bellissima festa di piazza, che si tiene tutti gli anni per tre fine settimana a fine novembre ed i primi di dicembre, all’insegna delle candele. Il borgo di Candelara si trova a sette chilometri da Pesaro, e di sviluppa tutto attorno al castello, appartenuto a Sigismondo Malatesta. Tutto il paese è perfettamente tenuto e completamente addobbato con le luci di Natale, ma oltre alle luci sono accese in ogni angolo del borgo centinaia di candele. La peculiarità di questa festa sono proprio le luci delle candele, che illuminano in due fasi distinte delle serate, l’intera festa, quando vengono spente tutte le luci e viene proposto uno spettacolo sulla torre del castello, fatto di luci, fumo, fuochi artificiali e palloncini a led, tutto molto originale e sobrio, ma nello stesso tempo antico. E’ allestita un’ampia area ludica con giochi antichi costruiti in legno e tanti laboratori dove si insegna ai più piccoli come di fabbricano le candele. Diversi ristoranti e punti di ristoro che propongono le specialità culinarie pesaresi, tra le quali la buonissima “crescia”. Per tutto il paese e dentro la cinta muraria sono presenti decine e decine di casette in legno con i prodotti tipici del natale, molte degne di rilievo per. Consigliamo assolutamente la visita a Calderara in occasione della festa delle candele. Da non perdere.
